With Dr. Fulvio Correa in Cartagena, the published estimate for HD liposculpture (listed as Liposurg) is USD 6,300–7,700, or COP 19.890.000–24.310.000. Adding arms or legs is USD 675–825 per area. A conventional lipo 360 that is not HD liposculpture, and a lipo 360 combined with a BBL, have no published range: they are quoted per case after the consultation. These are from–to estimates based on previous cases, not a quote, and the plastic surgery cost guide for Cartagena is the page that keeps the full table up to date.
"Lipo 360" is not a separate operation. It is the common name for liposuction of the abdomen, waist (flanks) and back in the same session, so the whole midsection is treated "all the way around." That is why its price depends far more on your plan than on the name. This guide explains which numbers exist, which ones don't, and what to check in any quote for lipo 360 in Colombia, here or anywhere else.
Lipo 360 cost in Cartagena at a glance
| Plan | Estimated range (USD) | Estimated range (COP) |
|---|---|---|
| HD liposculpture (Liposurg) | USD 6,300–7,700 | COP 19.890.000–24.310.000 |
| Retraction technology, per zone (only if the plan uses it) | USD 450–550 | COP 1.430.000–1.740.000 |
| Arm liposuction, added to liposuction | USD 675–825 | COP 2.140.000–2.610.000 |
| Leg liposuction, added to liposuction | USD 675–825 | COP 2.140.000–2.610.000 |
| Lipoabdominoplasty (when loose skin is part of the plan) | USD 9,900–12,100 | COP 31.250.000–38.200.000 |
| Lipo 360 that is not HD liposculpture | Quoted per case | Quoted per case |
| Lipo 360 with fat transfer to the buttocks (BBL) | Quoted per case | Quoted per case |
| Consultation | USD 150 | COP 400,000 |
The dollar figures are the authorized ranges. The pesos were converted at Colombia's official exchange rate (TRM) of 20 October 2026, COP 3,156.32 per dollar, and rounded up to the nearest 10,000 pesos. A later exchange rate changes the peso figure, not the dollar range. The consultation fee is a fixed pair and is not converted.
This is an approximate estimate based on previous cases; sometimes the fee has been lower and sometimes higher, depending on the case. The real quote always comes after the virtual or in-person consultation. It does not commit the doctor to charge that amount or to operate.
Why a conventional lipo 360 has no fixed price
Online, "lipo 360 Colombia price" searches return confident single numbers. A responsible quote can't start there, because the same name covers very different operations:
- How much area is treated. Abdomen and flanks only, or abdomen, flanks, upper and lower back. Mayo Clinic notes that the risk of complications rises when the surgeon works on larger body surfaces or does several procedures in the same operation, and that large-volume liposuction can shift enough fluid to affect the kidneys, heart and lungs. More area means more operating time and more planning.
- Which technique the plan needs. Mayo Clinic describes suction-assisted liposuction, the most common type, along with ultrasound-assisted, laser-assisted and power-assisted techniques, and says the surgeon selects the technique based on your goals, the area treated and any previous liposuction. No single device is the right choice for everyone.
- HD sculpting or not. HD liposculpture is the plan with a published range. A lipo 360 aimed at reducing volume without that definition work is a different plan, and it is quoted on its own.
- What is added. Arms or legs have their own add-on range. Fat transfer to the buttocks turns the plan into a BBL, which has its own safety rules and is quoted per case.
- Your skin. Liposuction does not tighten loose skin. If the consultation finds loose lower-abdominal skin or a stretched abdominal wall, the conversation moves toward a tummy tuck vs liposuction decision or a lipoabdominoplasty, which is priced differently.
So the honest answer to "how much is lipo 360 in Colombia?" is: there is a published range when the plan is HD liposculpture, and a written quote for anything else.
What the price includes, and what a quote must spell out
The ranges above do not state that any particular item is included. That is deliberate. A surgical bill is made of separate services, and a good written quote names each one so you can compare like with like:
- Surgeon's fee. The operation itself, for the areas agreed in the consultation.
- Anesthesia. Mayo Clinic explains that some liposuction is done with local or regional anesthesia plus sedation and some with general anesthesia. Ask who the anesthesiologist is and whether that fee is in the quote.
- Facility. The operating room and, if your plan needs it, an overnight stay for monitoring. Mayo Clinic notes that when a large amount of fat is removed or other procedures are done at the same time, surgery may take place in a hospital, and that people who have a lot of fluid removed may stay overnight.
- Tests before surgery. Lab work or other tests your surgeon asks for.
- Compression garment. You will wear one after surgery; ask whether the first garment is included and whether you will need a second size as swelling goes down.
- Medication and follow-up visits. How many visits happen while you are still in Cartagena, and how remote follow-up works once you are home.
- Massage or lymphatic drainage, if prescribed. Schedules vary by surgeon; the quote should say whether it is included or arranged separately.
If an item is not written in the quote, assume it is not included until someone confirms it in writing.
Costs outside the surgery range
These never appear in a procedure estimate, but they belong in your budget for lipo 360 in Colombia:
- Flights, for you and a companion if one travels with you.
- Lodging for the full stay. The number of nights depends on the flight home. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) suggests waiting five to seven days after body procedures such as liposuction before flying. Avianca, Colombia's flag carrier, lists 14 days after liposuction and 15 when two or more body procedures are combined, with a medical certificate issued no more than 10 days before the flight. The day-by-day version is in our liposuction recovery timeline.
- Recovery support. Some patients arrange an equipped recovery house with 24/7 nursing, transfers between the airport, the clinic and the house, and supplies. The plan is tailored at the consultation and has no package price; see recovery houses in Cartagena.
- Local transport, meals and time away from work.
- Care after you fly home, if you need it.
Adding a few nights of margin is cheaper than changing a flight because clearance came later than planned.
Lipo 360 with a BBL: why it is quoted separately
Many people searching "lipo 360 with BBL cost" are pricing two things at once: removing fat from the midsection and transferring part of it to the buttocks and hips. Once fat is grafted, the plan is a Brazilian butt lift, with its own technique, sitting rules and safety precautions, and it is quoted per case. The safety questions and the stay are covered in BBL Colombia: recovery time and how long to stay, and the procedure itself on the Brazilian butt lift page.
How to compare lipo 360 quotes from different clinics
A lower number is only a better price if it describes the same operation. Before you compare:
- Check that both quotes list the same areas (abdomen, flanks, upper back, lower back, arms, legs).
- Check whether each is HD liposculpture or a volume-reduction lipo, and whether fat transfer is included.
- Line up the separate services: surgeon, anesthesia, facility, tests, garment, medication, follow-up.
- Confirm the currency and the exchange-rate date if the quote is in pesos.
- Ask what happens, and what it costs, if you need an extra visit or an extra night before you are cleared to fly.
- Verify the surgeon and the facility: the surgeon's plastic surgery specialty registration (ReTHUS in Colombia), membership in the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery (SCCP) if it is claimed, and the facility's authorization for surgical services (REPS). ASPS encourages anyone considering surgery abroad to verify credentials and plan follow-up before traveling.
