Dermolipectomy and tummy tuck are medical terms used to define a surgical procedure which seeks to correct a soft abdomen, with excess skin and fatty tissue often develop at this site due to the effects of aging, pregnancies, and weight gain. The skin gradually loses elasticity and is stretched beyond its ability to contract following weight loss.
Through this procedure, a resection of adipose tissue (skin and fat) is performed at the level of the lower abdomen, accompanied in most cases by a reinforcement of the abdominal muscles through sutures and repositioning of the umbilicus. It may be associated with liposuction to improve the body contour further.

Dermolipectomy does not replace a program of physical exercise and should not be used as a mechanism for weight loss, and the variation of it during the post-surgical period should be avoided so as not to compromise the result.
The post-surgical recovery takes around 2 to 3 weeks, during which time the patient must follow the medical guidelines, periodically wander, avoid excessive physical effort and sun exposure among others.
Any surgical intervention presents a controlled risk of complications inherent in the anesthetic act and the procedure itself. However, all the relevant measures are taken to prevent them from occurring. Among the possible complications, we find the following: seroma (accumulation of fluid under the skin), hematoma, hypersensitivity, edema, infection, thrombus formation, and scarring problems.

Liposuction and Liposculpture are medical terms used to describe the surgical procedure that aims to remove localized fat in different areas of the body and its replacement in other areas (usually in the gluteal region) when appropriately indicated.
It is crucial that the patient understands that this is not a procedure to lose weight and if to improve the body contour, therefore it does not substitute a balanced diet or an adequate program of cardiovascular exercise and is not indicated to treat obesity or overweight.
Liposuction is performed using special cannulas with holes at its end, through small incisions and treats various areas of the body especially abdomen, back, flanks, legs, and arms.
The collected fat can be grafted (injected) into the gluteal region to increase the volume and improve its contour. However, this procedure must be studied for each specific case.

The time for carrying out this procedure ranges from 1 to 3 hours depending on the area to be treated, and its initial recovery process ranges from 7 to 15 days. The patient should wear a special girdle for at least 30 days and undergo drainage and massage after surgery to shorten the recovery time and optimize the final result.

Gluteoplasty is a medical term used to describe the surgical procedure by which it seeks to increase the volume of the buttocks and improve its contour.
This procedure can be performed in two ways, through liposuction followed by grafting of adipose tissue (fat) directly in the area that you wish to improve, or through the inclusion of a silicone implant similar to those used in breast augmentation.
It is necessary to note that this type of surgery does not correct flaccidity, stretch marks or cellulite, and its primary objective is the replacement of volume. In cases of mild asymmetry in which the LipoGrafter is chosen, correction can be attempted, although in most cases some degree of asymmetry will persist.
Gluteoplasty in its two modalities can be performed with general anesthesia or regional block, and the initial recovery process can last between 2 to 3 weeks, during which the patient must follow some specific guidelines that will be given in the postoperative immediate to optimize the recovery period.

Always bear in mind that a gluteal implant, as well as a breast implant, is a foreign body for your organism, so a periodic follow-up with your surgeon is indicated in order to evaluate its behavior, despite the technological advances in the manufacture of the Implants have significantly reduced the complications associated with their use, while increasing their useful life. The above does not mean that implants are definitive and will never require change.

Deformities of the upper limbs are inherent in the aging process and the wide range of bodily changes that accompany massive losses of body weight. Among the alterations suffered by the arms is lipodystrophy (accumulation of fat), which is usually accompanied by ptosis (flaccidity) of the tissues of the area.
The word brachioplasty refers to the surgical procedure used to reduce flaccidity and lipodystrophy of the arms and axillary region, mainly in patients who have suffered a massive weight loss and the natural aging process resulting in loss of skin elasticity. Many patients develop skin excess and descent of soft tissues of the upper arms. It may be frustrating that no matter how much training is performed, this skin redundancy is often unresponsive to exercise.

This surgery is sometimes associated with other procedures such as liposculpture, tummy tuck, among others. The recovery time varies between 15-21 days, and the patient must use an armband for approximately one month to promote the healing process.

Patients increasingly request calf implants to increase volume and improve the contour of the legs. Just like breast implants are made of silicone gel which makes them entirely safe.
They are indicated mainly in people who despite carrying out a routine of exercises aimed at increasing the volume of their legs, or those that have some slight asymmetry that can be corrected with its unilateral use.
The average time it takes to perform this procedure ranges from 1-2 hours and is done under regional or general anesthesia. Their recovery period is relatively short so that patients can return to their working life faster.
